Port is walkable to Reykjavik city center; Old Harbour is adjacent
Iceland is extremely expensive - warn clients about budget; weather is highly unpredictable year-round - always layer up; Blue Lagoon requires advance reservations (books out weeks in advance); midnight sun in summer means no darkness
Book Blue Lagoon well in advance - it sells out and is a non-negotiable Iceland experience. The Golden Circle is the essential Iceland day trip. Northern Lights are best November-February but not guaranteed. Midnight sun is magical but can disturb sleep - bring an eye mask.
